SG is right, young parents go cruising for themselves, naturally. What your son got was full time parenting, from two parents. That doesn't make anybody that cruises with their babies the best parents, but it does cause a family to spend a lot of time together that is out of the norm. I have a lot of friends that wouldn't work for.

The other thing that sticks out with this couple is that young parents are pretty fearless. They're still invincible. Where as, I doubt grandparents would be as inclined.
