Several years ago I slipped on the ice and broke my right shoulder blade. That has greatly limited my ability to crank a winch. So last year I bit the bullet and upgraded to electric winches. They are the bomb, but unfortunately, while installing the winches I bent my left knee a bit to much to the side and blew out a ligament. That had me limping around all summer and much of the winter. The knee is finally more or less pain free but it doesn't like to bend like it used to. I am also finding that spending 6-8 hours working on my boat leaves me totally exhausted and with considerable lower back pain. That isn't stopping me from doing the work, but it is less fun than it used to be. I don't have any plans to sell the boat, but would like to downsize. The only problem with that is the admiral likes the boat and doesn't want to sell it. I will tough it out until I am 65 and then decide. I would like to do some travelling and mountain walking to places I haven't been for 40 years and two boats severly limits my freedom to take time to travel in the spring, summer and fall. The admiral won't travel in the winter
