If the woman is nervous more than you, sound her out. If she can't relax and enjoy the sail, perhaps it's time for something different. Perhaps sell the boat and get a different (larger?) camper?
We might be getting to that point. Admiral still enjoys sailing, but her physical limitations can't be ignored. Day sails - fine. Overnights - maybe. Multi-week - not any more. The boat is now basically mine to maintain and single hand - which seems a bit selfish. For the cost of winter storage, summer dockage, insurance, sanding & painting, etc - we could easily afford some of the road trips that she can still enjoy. We're not into campers, so I can't comment on that. Should we be???
Have NO camping experience, but imagine it's similar to sailing - fill me in (please). Is this something we should consider???
