.. easier to fix than orthopedic issues but it takes work. The simple answer is exercise to strengthen your core. Crunches and side-crunches and leg extensions (front and back) etc. along with stretches and/or yoga. It takes time and discipline and thinking about it in your easy chair doesn't help. I know this because this is the part I struggle with... I do some but don't do enough either.
Working stooped over is static and passive, strenuous -- you need "active" to keep your core strong.
But the strenuous aspect of holding position for a long time can also pull your back out of alignment, and a good chiropractor (or the Spine Worx device) can help it back into alignment and reduce muscle spasm. If you study a muscle chart you can see how the longitudinal muscles in your back are tied into your pelvis and spine.
