When I was young I was an avid skier, moguls were huge fun, college ski team doing slalom. We all laughed that when we reached 60 we would all be in wheel chairs with bad knees. At that time 60 years old was a lifetime away. To be honest, I never thought I would see 60. Broke my left leg in 7 places skiing when I was supposed to be studying in college, a few too many beers and using my racing skis with the bindings cranked all the way down instead of the recreational skis. I can pretty much predict the weather with that leg. Several years after that I put my motorcycle down doing about 4 mph, sand on the parking lot......right knee was hyperextended sideways, it pops every morning now. left ankle took a beating three years ago when I tripped over the genoa car on the Islander, that is the second weather predictor now. Then there are those sore hips, my guess left over from skiing as well..............getting old isn't as much fun as I thought it would be.
