I always wondered why my throttle cable had a wire clamp on it.
Yeah, I just developed this problem too...
This summer's problem? Last year it was dirty fuel.
Well actually last year it was a clogged exhaust.
I swapped lots of fuel system parts.
I wish "one shouldn't motor that much..."
Don't we all. Or at least many of us- 4 miles up a 60 foot wide channel

Most control levers have a set screw to adjust friction...
