When we hauled to the deck we used our Antal electric winch and a 3 point bridle on an internal halyard.

The davits were generally the way to go (except for the extra hobby horsing on long passages). We could launch the dingy with engine and be off exploring in 1 minute and raise it in 3 when it was on davits
