I just one-hand the motor onto the boat - not a big deal

That is one of the main advantages of the Torqeedo electric motor. As far as the dinghy goes we tow it. Never a problem although we haven't towed the new hard dinghy yet. When I have put the dinghy on deck I just use the main halyard. The Barient 22 winch on the mast makes the job easy.
