I probably should have used heavier hardware and come up with tackle that would be useful for other things, but I was somewhat focused on the inflatable and the issues it presented. My tackle is rated for 300lbs.

I even hoist the motor, in spite of the "mere" 48 lbs it weighs... just gives me more control of the thing while aiming for my "rubber boat."

I raise and lower the boat by using the towing tie points in the front, which means I need to raise the boat quite high to clear the length of the boat and the lifeline.

The boat weighs in at about 65lbs.
