is what I'm thinking on doing. I'll take a thin hacksaw blade and open up the crack. I'll wash the slot with acetone. I'll heat the wood around the slot with a heat gun if the epoxy doesn't flow into the slot freely. I'll mix the epoxy with a small amount of teak saw dust. I'll tape the slot to keep the epoxy from flowing out if it's overly thin. I'll use a West System flexible epoxy repair kit. When it goes off I'll sand it smooth and re-varnish. Sound good? Am I missing anything??
