IMHO - sand off the Cetol and let it go gray.

In my (very limited) experience, Cetol doesn't do well when exposed to winter weather. It comes away and flake/chips off wherever water can enter a tiny crack, but it adheres well everywhere else. It makes for a very unsightly finish.
