I guess the moral of the story is to keep praying... Only times he capsized, were when he was asleep, and no longer praying...

I dunno, perhaps he actually WAS out there all that time... I had assumed from Bucksport he'd probably gone out of Winyah Bay, but turns out he left from Little River Inlet... So, both the Barefoot Landing and Little River swing bridges should have a record of the dates of his transit, that would confirm his timeline...
