I fully expect a surprise or six when I get started. With everything in the whole boat but the sink drains plumbed to drain into the keel sump this is an important pump. I really want to make sure everything is wired and working.

Isn't there some corollary about the importance of the system tied directly to the amount of difficulty required to work on it?
