When it's a cruising couple you can get get used to yelling at times, something not done between good friends. You were the first crew other than her in years. You do have to admit I caught it quickly, I remember saying I was Sorry, I forgot it wasn't Rey at the bow.
Yeah, those buttons caused problems once in a while but I liked them most of the time. There were a number of times I accidently put my foot or knee on one causing a bit of chain to pay out as I never turned the windless off. Never deployed the anchor by accident though. We had the hand-held in/out remote that I really liked using but for some reason we didn't use it that day.
My favorite memory was when you said you said you were feeling tired one morning when we were preparing to leave (I was a bit tired also). With that in mind we decided to stay and just hang out for another day doing nothing but swimming around the boat, relaxing, sleeping, eating & drinking. Thats one of the greatest parts of cruising, having no agenda but make it up as you feel like. Reminds me of an Eileen Quinn song where they had just finished preparing for a passage but decided to stay because there was a party going on. After all the preparation outlined in the song the tag line was - "Oh what the hell, we can leave the next day!"(nl)
