You hear so many story on the beaches of Mexico

I am thinking, It was 3 or 4 guys bring a boat north in Gulf of Tehuantepec, I think we were talking about EPIRB and the wife of one of the guy that had flow down to help, he took his EPIRB from his boat down with him. The wife got a call from the CG asking about the EPIRB and did she know that it had been set off. She had to tell them that it was not on the boat as registration said and then could not tell CG about the boat it was on. I can not remember for sure if the chain took out the forstay ( they had a lot of bow damage) or pull the shaft and taking on water, They were dead in the water but I am thinking they did not lose the boat, Thinking a Mexico fisherman pull them to shore. It was a good story and they had a lot of damage.
