We didn't sail in Italy, we just ate and drank. Italy is the perfect place to do that! The food and local wines are hard to leave.

This is our son in Rome on our way to an award ceremony(getting advice from his mom...). He showed us around Trastevere, his neighborhood of Rome. Non touristy, we really enjoyed being there. He speaks Italian which makes it even more fun.

Romans are pretty cool. They're not picking on the Christians these days. They love their dogs as much as their food and wine and are very friendly people, with a keen edge.
