What's missing in this photo?

This is one of my rare decent photos, from Perry Creek during this this summer's NYC cruise; NYC is Northport Yacht Club (not that other NYC).
Note the Sculling dinghy behind the Appledore, The guy doing the scullig own the beautiful Ohlson 38 that is moored in front of the Appledore.
BTW what is the Appledore missing?
