Our kids never wanted to leave. It was a delight for us all and a wonderful education. Realistically though, as one Italian friend pointed out to me, living in Italy as an American, with a strong dollar, was a little different from living there as an Italian with a chaotic government, weak economy, and a depressing lack of opportunity for the young.
Nevertheless, I'd go back to Napoli, and "dolce far' niente" in a minute.
