the wine is even cheaper. It could have something to do with where we come from but we find Italy very cheap to travel, eat and drink. The always excellent local wines were not much more for a bottle than we're used to paying for a glass! And the food, amazing. Another difference, tipping isn't part of the culture. Hard for an American to get used to but that lowers the costs even more.
