Give up some windward capability for improved performance off the wind. Suspect the performance is weight sensitive. Can't say I care for the hard chine. Based on my Lightning experience, I think it will be very wet going upwind in a chop. And at 6000 lbs, it's not really that light - I've sailed 30' boats that are half that!
They seem to have gone with a conventional centerboard - wonder if it's ballasted or just a lifting foil?
