The pointing angle of the Maine Cat (I've never sailed one) has to be 10-15degrees less efficient?
The hull of the Pogo is really that of a Mini-Transit by the way. Those, are veterans of that Transatlantic race Eastward. They aren't for the faint of heart, they do get across -- but you have to SAIL THEM, or you can get in trouble.
