Those French and (mostly) other European sailors, they've miss that secret weapon: The Maine Cat 30 ;^)))))
On a trangular course, I don't think it would close, Tom.
That's not bad for the Maine Cat -- it would be a lot easier for one person (with a little assistance) to sail.
But the Pogo is just a Mini Transit on steroids. It's like comparing a Chevy to a Ferrari. The Ferrari is faster, noisier, etc.. The Chevy is more comfortable, forgiving, and slower. Both will get you there (around town), but on a race course involving a variety of conditions, the Ferrari will be faster. MAYBE in a straight-away (like a 1/4 mile) the Chevy's OF OLD, might do something. But those old Chevy's wouldn't like to see the first 150 degree snap turn. ;^))))
P.S. -- I'd probably like a Maine Cat to putz around in if I were just playing around. My limited experience in Ferrari's were not too pleasant. I never liked really driving in a hard-out sports car "for fun" around town or across country. I enjoy taking my wife's car for a spin -- but not in town.
WHERE ARE MY READING GLASSES, that I seldom use? ;^))))
