The Pogo and the MC 30 both are very weight sensitive. They're both sold as "cruisers" but I'm quite sure performance would bog in either one if you loaded them up with full tanks and clothing/provisions that a couple would typically take for a week or two on a summer vacation cruise. Add the dog and the kids, and a few hundred pounds of tool/spares and specialty sails, and they will truly perform like other cruising boats.

Oh; and don't forget the dinghy and its OB, anchor, pump etc.
