Tonight I installed the basement solar panel project described n the post above, for a 25% increase in solar power.

I had 8x 20w panels installed on the amas. (Four on each side of the boat -- see background in image). Now 2 more brings it up from 160w to 200w total.

These can also be used to rest a plate or utensils while using the barbeque, if not too hot (the panel surface is some type of bonded polymer/plastic).
