Since retiring in 2001 we have made a trip to the St. John River, NB, one to the Gulf of Mexico, one to Maine and one to the Bahamas. This is based out of Annapolis. Lately we have pretty much cut the long distance trips and are doing two/three week ones, say from Philly to northern North Carolina.
Last year we bought a Little Guy Teardrop camper and done Nova Scotia, Key West and the 1000 Islands.
The change in our operation is a mix of age (mid 70's) and weather. Also with the camper we are able to go to places we can't with the boat. While camping isn't bad, I do prefer the boat.
