So the line does the job. And yes, I have tied off the second reef under way. In Pensacola Bay, with a Navy ship behind me, ,who himself hove too due to rain and winds. Easy? nope, but doable. I'd love to have the hooks and rings, but ain't gonna happen.

- Good ideas. Not exactly a universal method.
- Some of my favorite sailing was on my Nimbus 42' in gale force winds with a triple reef in the main
