Still have my old Rockwell 9" Contractors saw sitting in the corner of the shop.

Those were a very popular job site saw +30 years ago. Know what you mean about the fence. You learned to check the fence to the blade front and back before locking things down. I've even seen guys add a clamp on the back. That Beisemeyer fence is a huge improvement.

- I've cut a lot of aluminum on a bandsaw.....
- I made these door panels from 1/8" aluminum sheet
- Perfect excuse to buy a horizontil band saw
