Had the powerboat skipper not been inattentive and instead radioed the ferry well in advance, saying

"Ferry, I am the stand-on vessel and will maintain my course and speed. Please adjust your course and/or speed accordingly.", how would you have answered if you were the ferry skipper? Would you agree and adjust or would you dispute the powerboat skipper's course of action and insist that the powerboater give way?
