When it comes time to get rid of it we take it to shore and burn it along with any other non deep water dump-able rubbish. That goes for all the plastic. It gets burned. As far as pollution is concerned, it's the only option that is available so I don't think about it.

Our most difficult trash to get rid of is aluminum foil. Can't burn it and you can't throw it in the ocean as it floats. Everything else is disposable easily. I have been able to burn the aluminum foil if there isn't much and it's a good fire.
