Raw water cooling

I have a Volvo 2003 also and had a cooling problem that was caused by the raw water filter.
My filter is made by Volvo and has two fittings at the bottom that were leaking air also check the top of the filter it has a gasket there. Hope this helps.

- Those pumps are very sensitive to the size of the housing
- By chance a Volvo shop yesterday referred me to a specialty marine pump shop in town --they said the same thing
