Looks like it has an anchor locker in the bow

With the size anchor it needs (perhaps a 25 lb Delta/Manson/Rocna or lighter aluminum Spade A80 or Fortress) with rope rode and short chain leader, it could be handled without a windlass.

I see this as a large trailer sailor or weekender/daysailor that can cruise a couple (with or without small kids) for a week or two in spartan style. It should perform nicely although I think the builder's website is a bit misleading about it being comfortable in 30-40 knots. That's a LOT of wind in any boat, and a lightweight mono with only 25% ballast wouldn't be my first choice, reefed or not.

Also -- the whole beaching thing is misleading, from a practical standpoint. If you are going to dry-sail the boat beaching will only scratch your gelcoat, but if you keep it in the water it will remove your precious bottom paint in no time. Better to stand off a bit in the shallows, and keep a close eye on the tides or you're going to be there for "a while". It's not much different in its shallow water "beachable" design, size and purpose than my first trimaran, the Dragonfly 920.
