The trimarans are a big step up from this Presto 30 in performance, and can probably point higher too. Not saying the Presto doesn't have a niche, but for my money ....... I'd rather spend a bit more for the tri (or the same as a new Presto for a used tri in good condition).
Here's a shot of Symmetri (my prior boat, a 33' Dragonfly 1000) which sold for a lot less than a new Presto, and offers a whole lot more in every respect including shallow draft (except it's not trailerable, and the systems/interior are luxurious, not spartan). The Dragonfly 28 or Corsair F31 or Telstar 28 would be the direct competition for the Presto, and IF the buyer was really into "new thinking" the multihull bias thing would not be an obstacle.
