I don't think it fair or necessary to get anyone else involved. When I said the $10 wasn't worth my time, I meant for me to do the experiment. I've spent too much time on this already. I admit that I am astonished to discover the lack of knowledge of simple tackles by some of the participants in the discussion. For example that when you put 100 lbs of tension in a line turned through 180 degrees by a block, that block sees 200 lbs stress. My original explanations assumed that as known fact (millennia old, fact). It wasn't 'till very lately here that I realized this was not understood by everyone. Maybe that should be your first experiment. Your real reward will be what you learn.
Call it "hyberbole" if you like. I am completely serious about the Nobel Prize. If you can disprove 400 years of well confirmed Newtonian physics it will make the cover of hundreds of scientific journals. A more fundamental discovery than Cold Fusion by far.
