Well after six seasons of use our cockpit cushions are getting ready for the old heave ho... As we are near one of my favorite canvas shops, we stopped by and began the discussion of new cushions. The last cushions where built of Sunbrella on 3 inch 30 lb density reticulated foam. Anyone have any thoughts on foam density or thickness? I'd like to use a heavier density reticulated foam and maybe 2 inch instead. How about the choice of cover material? We keep coming back to Sunbrella as I really object to plain old vinyl. Anyone use the phifertex version with the little holes? Is it comfortable to sit on with shorts?

We are sitting in North East Harbor in the rain today, not a bad place to hang out in the rain or shine.......
