The 2" is too thick. It looks great but 1" would give me a larger seat with a higher back. It may not seem like much but take 2" off here and 2" off there and the cockpit is getting smaller. Besides, with closed cell foam it doesn't compress much and the loss of room is wasted.

Wanted to switch to 1" when we re-covered in Bocas Del Toro but there wasn't any and to use the old 2" foam.
