We did the same Max. Just the nylon covered throwable cushions. 
In Response To: We decided not to replace our aging cushions ()
The old cockpit cushions took up a lot of locker space to stow, the throwable cushions slide under the dodger.
We have enough of the cushions to fill a cockpit seat or the bridgedeck for sleeping(lightly....) on an overnight. Plus we use the side decks and foredeck for sitting so the cushions work pretty well. You can also throw them in for a swim.
