It doesn't stay wet, isn't slick when you step on them; and it's firm enough to stand-on.

My concern with mesh....
We have mesh covering..
our mesh covered cushions are medium blue and very comfortable
2" closed cell foam with Sunbrella on top & sides with mesh on the bottom.
We love our C-cushions made
Decisions, decisions.......
We decided not to replace our aging cushions
Despite the contrariness of it...I always find cockpit cushions to be a pain the butt.
I have to agree with that sentiment...
The C-Cushion type are pretty resistant to sliding...
I picked up some cushions last month!
When you spend hours under way in the cockpit those cushions are nice
We did the same Max. Just the nylon covered throwable cushions.
We use the square cushions also
We did a Bermuda race on a boat that used square......
Agreed... always in the way!
