Just to toss out an alternative. We were getting ready to replace our cockpit cushions last year when friends who circumnavigated said they did away with their cockpit cushions and are happier for it. We tried it this summer and so far it's worked out well. We have 4 small seat cushions that stow easily in the cockpit locker, and also have 2 of the adjustable recliner seats that we pull out in port. We like the simplicity and cleanness of the cockpit, so will probably stick with this arrangement.
