Only once has my anchor broken out, and it was in a place (Newport) where there was no more swinging room, and where, actually, I had considered up and changing location about an hour before the storm hit. But the east, at least, boasts so many places where anchoring is becoming tight - Block, Newport, Cuttyhunk, Nantucket - that a sentry just seems so sensible and simple, and inexpensive!
