If anyone's going to Annapolis, please give a report on ATN Dorcap
Practical Sailor this Month had a piece on this.
I'll be there on Thursday, will check it out...
Practical Sailor ahs two others reviewed this month
I have a "Hatch Umbrella"
I think most boats (mine too even with ample dorade vents) are ventilation challenged in rain.
Actually the hatch tent works OK in some conditions
Here's an old boat with a "hatch dodger"
Another simple option that works in many conditions
Some clever designer could improve on this idea
This one already has... (grin)
I was able to take a pic of mine tonight
Those both look great. But they rely solely on aft facing hatches, right?
That's correct, Tom
If somebody can come up with the miracle solutiion,
Seems to me the whole key is a Z shaped airflow...
My Atkins-Hoyle hatches are reversing....
ATN Dorcap report from Nap...
Thanks Jon
