We liked Isla Mujeres. One night while sitting in a restaurant on the main drag a group of teenagers set up a dance troupe with 'Hula Hoops' & scarves as props playing live music. It was great, a good pizza, wine and entertainment while on the outside patio watching the parade of island guests pass by.
The interesting thing about Mujeres is that the entire seaside frontage changed from one side of the island to the other and more sheltered side. The original frontage side with hotels was abandoned after a hurricane and everything moved to the anchorage side. Just interesting.
