But then it's a motorsail the entire way to Providencia from the Bay Islands. Everyone seems to do it. On the other hand, with your experience in the South Pacific and distance sailing you're different from most playing around in the Caribbean. I'm a coastal cruiser with no problems motoring. Sometimes I wish I was more of a distance sailor and more purest like you. It does seem a shame you can't take a couple of years to get to Panama. There's just so much to see and do.
