You missed the part about cruising and coming home (where ever that is). 
In Response To: Survey. How long does it take you to get to your boat? ()
We're in Southern California and the boat's in Stuart Fl. about 6,500 miles by water or 11 or 12 hours taking cars and commercial jets. But then,,, home is Dana Point California and the boat is where ever it was when we left it.
That's cruising and boat ownership for us. The good part is that when we get on the boat it's for 4 months and home (California) isn't home but the boat is till we leave it and return to the California house.

- About 3 min if I walk...less if I drive.
- I'm a leisurely 5 minute walk, but I've enjoyed being 8 hours away by car too.

- Zero nanoseconds. I live on my boat.

- 5-7 minutes by car. Easy.

Embarrassment. My boat is in the back yard, it sometimes takes me days to get there.....

- It was over 3 hours for 8 years but
- 30 min drive
- about ten minutes by car, or twenty by city bus.
- This summer 15 minutes to one and 25 minutes to the other
- I asked the same question about ten years ago
- 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by bike...
- It's only a few miles but it can take several hours.
- About 4 hours
- It was 2 hours for 6 years then we moved to a couple of miles from the boat
- Depends how far we take the dinghy...
