We ended up paying for some things like shrinkwrap and other tasks that became problematic with the distance. Spring was tough! I remember trying to bring what was needed to places like the Chesapeake in early spring, or various areas on the coast of Maine as we traveled from Vermont. Often commissioning was packed into a weekend. I had to be efficient!

The lack of convenience was more than made up by casting off on a new coast. It was a way to continue what we liked about cruising while still living our lives at "home".
