In Response To: Survey. How long does it take you to get to your boat? ()
we moved the boat to less than an hour away 2 summers ago. It is certainly convenient to have the boat closer now and we enjoy exploring our new home waters of the Northumberland Strait but I loved the sailing on Nova Scotia's south shore. It's all good.

- About 3 min if I walk...less if I drive.
- I'm a leisurely 5 minute walk, but I've enjoyed being 8 hours away by car too.
- You missed the part about cruising and coming home (where ever that is).

Embarrassment. My boat is in the back yard, it sometimes takes me days to get there.....

- about ten minutes by car, or twenty by city bus.
- This summer 15 minutes to one and 25 minutes to the other
- I asked the same question about ten years ago
- 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by bike...
- It's only a few miles but it can take several hours.
- About 4 hours
- It was 2 hours for 6 years then we moved to a couple of miles from the boat
- Depends how far we take the dinghy...
