My boat has been about 4 hours away for the past five years, but I am down there just about every weekend in season and then during vacation. I often do the drive to the boat late at night or even during the night to avoid traffic and I just look at it like a night watch. Is it ideal? No! I'd much rather live on the coast, but I need to find a job there first. To me it is like food. Is it inconvenient to get dinner sometimes? Yes, but I still do it almost every day.
