5 minute walk
In Response To: Survey. How long does it take you to get to your boat? ()
I totally love being 'handy' to the boat. I get to go 'sit a spell' or check on her mooring lines during/after a big blow. Not only that, but the marine store is between me and the boat. It doesn't really even tick me off to have to do a 2 or 3 trip West Marine project!

- About 3 min if I walk...less if I drive.
- I'm a leisurely 5 minute walk, but I've enjoyed being 8 hours away by car too.
- You missed the part about cruising and coming home (where ever that is).

Embarrassment. My boat is in the back yard, it sometimes takes me days to get there.....

- This summer 15 minutes to one and 25 minutes to the other
- I asked the same question about ten years ago
- 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by bike...
- It's only a few miles but it can take several hours.

- It was 2 hours for 6 years then we moved to a couple of miles from the boat
