It's only a few miles but it can take several hours.
In Response To: Survey. How long does it take you to get to your boat? ()
First I have to stop at the nearby Piggly Wiggly for a Starbucks coffee. Then, of course, a detour to check out West Marine, followed by a short stop or two on the access road to the Marina to check out the Blue Herons and the Ospreys, and perhaps a quick glance over the side of the main dock to see if the Redfish are feeding.

- About 3 min if I walk...less if I drive.
- I'm a leisurely 5 minute walk, but I've enjoyed being 8 hours away by car too.
- You missed the part about cruising and coming home (where ever that is).
