() I'm sure that a wind instrument would have its uses and a be a valuable tool but I hardly think they are a requirement. I'm thinking of getting one to use with my AP and for the other reasons mentioned above but I don't think of it as a safety issue. Perhaps my view will change after I've used one for a while. The Garmin instruments look nice if you're shopping Gene.
