I do have this cheap Sevylor toy inflatable which has gotten me back and forth to the beach in places like Catalina. But it is indeed a cheap toy, and I row it.
I am still pondering regular inflatable... air floor or hard floor vrs portabote.
At this point my local sailing has been marina to marina or I have been close enough to the beach to use the Sevylor.
